Conversations with 4 yr olds

Veronica (very sad): Mimi and papa have to leave.

Mama: I know honey. Should we lock the doors and take them prisoner?

Veronica (with a huge smile and nodding ferociously) yes! 

Then pausing asks: do they have a key?

Mama: Frankie they won't like it at school if you talk back.

Frankie: I won't talk back, I'm a gentleman.

Veronica: Me neither! I'm a woman!!

Mama: I think you mean lady.

Veronica: Yep that's right, I'm a lady.
